In the process of enquiry, booking an appointment and at an appointment, we may collect various types of data from you about yourself and your horse(s)/dog(s) for us to provide you with our services.

  • Contact details (addresses, phone numbers, email addresses etc.) may be used for the purpose of administration. Invoicing, sending out exercise plans and/or reports, and arranging appointments. Such details will not be disseminated to other parties without your permission except where we are legally required to do so.

  • Details relating to your horse(s)/dog(s) and their treatment will be used to assist us in providing physiotherapy care. These treatment records may be shared and/or discussed with your veterinary surgeon where necessary in accordance with the professional requirements of our governing bodies. Please note that details of your horse(s)/dog(s) historic physiotherapy care records might also be requested by your insurance company in the event of making an insurance claim with them.

  • Your information will only be stored on password protected and anti-viral protected devices with the information backed up to an external hard drive.

  • Treatment records will be stored for a minimum of 7 years as required by our insurers and so you have the right to object to retention of such information at the first point of communication before any treatment commences. Following this minimum period from the last treatment date however, your details may be securely deleted upon request.
